Leaving for Europe

Rudy Fernandez and now Goran Dragic are the most recent slew of players rumored to be leaning to playing in Europe when their contract expires. The market allows European teams to pay players significantly more than NBA teams. Before, Europe was an alternative to college as we have seen by Brandon Jennings and Jeremy Tyler opting to play overseas out of high school. Now that the NBA is nearing a lockout, the allure of playing in Europe in addition to the money is growing. If the NBA cannot get their act together, they will not only lose their foreign players but American born players as well.

Agree? Disagree? Let Us Know!!!
